GRADUATE REQUIREMENTS
Standards of Academic Excellence & Spiritual Formation
All students enrolled at Living Water Biblical Institute must successfully complete the minimum number of courses and required credit hours designated for their specific program of study. Each programāCertificate through Doctorateāis structured to ensure that every graduate demonstrates both academic mastery and spiritual maturity consistent with LWBIās mission and standards.
LWBI maintains a commitment to highāquality biblical education, and therefore all graduates must fulfill the following institutional expectations:
1. Completion of Required Coursework
Students must complete all courses assigned to their program, including:
Core biblical and theological courses
Ministry and leadership courses
Specialized or concentration courses (when applicable)
Any additional requirements determined by faculty evaluation
Each program has a clearly defined number of required courses. (See the Academic Catalog for programāspecific course lists.)
2. Sufficient Instructional Time
Students must complete the required amount of ināclass instructional hours, whether through:
Ināhouse classroom instruction
Online synchronous or asynchronous learning
Approved ministry practicum or supervised fieldwork
Instructional time is measured according to LWBIās academic standards and must be fully satisfied before graduation.
3. FacultyāGuided Course Sequencing
Course sequencing, academic pacing, and program progression are established by the L.W.B.I. faculty to ensure:
Balanced learning
Proper theological development
Structured academic advancement
Integration of biblical knowledge with practical ministry skills
Students are expected to follow the recommended sequence unless granted approval for an adjusted plan.
4. Academic Standing & Integrity
To qualify for graduation, students must:
Maintain satisfactory academic progress
Uphold LWBIās standards of academic integrity
Complete all assignments, assessments, and ministry requirements
Demonstrate Christlike character and ethical conduct
Academic dishonesty or violations of institutional policy may delay or prevent graduation.
5. Fulfillment of Financial Obligations
All tuition, fees, and financial responsibilities must be paid in full before a degree, diploma, or certificate can be awarded.
6. Final Evaluation or Review (When Applicable)
Some programs may require:
A final exam
A ministry practicum evaluation
A capstone project
A written or oral assessment
These evaluations ensure that each graduate is fully prepared for ministry, leadership, or advanced academic study.
7. Institutional Approval for Graduation
Graduation is finalized only after:
Faculty review
Administrative verification
Completion of all academic and spiritual requirements
Once approved, students are eligible to participate in LWBIās commencement ceremony and receive their official credential.
